Newly elected Chief of Lake Norman Fire and Rescue, Kevin Clark has announced his first key selection for the leadership team at the station.
Clark announced that Neel Brawley will continue his work as Deputy Chief/Operations. In that role, Brawley will oversee the fire side of the station, including all major responsibilities including fire personnel and scheduling, truck purchase and maintenance, fire and personal protective equipment, training, and fire side Standard Operating Policies.
“Neel Brawley has been, and will be the driving force for Lake Norman’s fire response. On many days, he has our engines staffed with over 100 years of firefighter experience,” Clark Noted. “We have worked together for many years, and there is no one more qualified than Chief Brawley to run our Fire Operations.”
Neel Brawley has held many officer positions and Lake Norman and most recently been Deputy Chief under past Chief, Andy Weatherman. In addition to his volunteer work at Lake Norman, Brawley is the Assistant Fire Chief/Logistics for Mooresville Fire-Rescue.
